Online Srce courses

More than 20 online courses are available free of charge through the Srce Learning Management System

The University Computing Centre (Srce) offers a large number of free online courses in the field of information and communication technologies and other related fields. The courses are designed for self-directed learning and allow the user to choose the place and time for learning, as well as the pace at which they will go through the content of the course.

Registration in the Learning Management System (LMS)

Before applying for a course, you should register in the Srce Learning Management System. Users of the e-Citizens system can register in the same way as they log in to the e-Citizens. On the homepage of the Srce Learning Management System, click on the “Login via NIAS” button and follow the on-screen instructions. An active email address is required to complete the registration process.
At each subsequent login to the system, the user should click on the button “Login via NIAS” and then choose their login method in the e-Citizens.

Applying for online courses

After successful registration, a box with available groups of courses will appear on the left side of the screen. You need to click on one of the groups and select the desired course. By clicking on the course name, the user can view the description of the course and decide whether they want to register for it. The user can register for the course by clicking on the “Register me” button.
After registration, the user remains enrolled in the course indefinitely, and if they wish, they can unregister from the course on their own.

Attending online courses

Immediately after registering for the desired course, all topics in the course are displayed. The course can be taken as per the presented topic order, in another order or by displaying only certain topics.
There are video tutorials available to help users register and apply for a course. Video instructions can be accessed from the homepage of the Learning Management System, by clicking on the camera image, which is located next to the “Login via NIAS” button.

Completing the course

Upon the completion of the course, the user can download or print a certificate of completion of the online course on their computer. The user will also receive a digital badge, of which they will be notified by e-mail.
